Krysta Moulton is the division lead of the Healthcare and Biotechnology vertical in Burkland’s bookkeeping and accounting practice. She also serves as the BKA Prospects Lead, where she works to ensure synergy between prospective client needs and Burkland offerings to help accelerate the dreams of the startup founders we support.
Krysta previously served as the CFO and controller of two startup companies – Alexis Bio and XenoTherapeutics – as well as in various advisory roles for startups in the biotech and healthcare spaces. This experience allows her and her team to serve clients with empathy and a deep understanding of the challenges of growing a business in these cost-intensive and highly regulated industries.
Krysta is a Certified Public Accountant and Harvard alumna. Her areas of expertise include the MSO/PC model, an increasingly popular business model that allows more freedom of operation for clinical providers and supporting the development of biotechnology startups, from initial idea through clinical trials. Her group is passionate about delivering full-service accounting support for startups in the healthcare and biotech spaces so clients can focus on the important solutions they are developing for patients across the globe.
