Josh has served as a fractional CFO to a broad range of companies from startup through growth stage with a focus on supporting VC backed Fintech companies.
Josh started his career with 15 years in public accounting (10 at Deloitte and 5 at BPM) where he served technology companies during the late 1990’s / early 2000’s during the initial Bay Area tech boom and bust, then in 2002 switched to serving financial services companies, including
investment banks, broker-dealers, private equity, venture capital and commercial banking clients. In 2013, Josh put his financial services and technology backgrounds to work by building and leading the finance functions of high growth VC backed Fintech companies, including Prosper Marketplace and Earnest.
Josh has overseen FP&A, accounting, SEC reporting/policy, treasury operations, facilities and payroll/benefits during highly successful growth periods at numerous companies.
Josh is a licensed CPA and attended University of California, Santa Barbara where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree with highest honors in Business Economics with and Accounting Emphasis.
