Heather Ake leads Burkland’s Tax Team.
Heather Ake is Burkland’s Senior Director of Tax, bringing more than 20 years of both industry and tax consulting experience. She has valuable expertise in sales, use, gross receipts, excise, and property tax. Through various management positions in both public and private industry, Heather developed compliance processes and strategies tailored to each entity’s specific business needs. Her knowledge of tax law applicable to various industries has a direct, positive impact on her clients’ key financial performance.
When not partnering with clients, Heather serves on a not-for-profit Board of Director Finance Executive Committee and volunteers.
