Jeremy Gimbel is a strategic finance executive and Fractional CFO with 20+ years of experience helping healthcare, healthtech, and growth-oriented companies improve financial performance, strengthen financial operations, and make informed strategic decisions.
Jeremy brings deep experience across financial strategy, FP&A, budgeting and forecasting, and operational finance. He partners closely with founders, CEOs, executive teams, and boards to translate financial data into clear actions, whether a company is scaling, improving profitability, implementing new systems and processes, or preparing for a transaction. His background also includes M&A, investor relations, due diligence, capital allocation, partnership structuring, debt compliance, revenue cycle management, and KPI and financial reporting systems.
Throughout his career, Jeremy has served as a CFO and senior finance leader across public, private equity-backed, nonprofit, and entrepreneurial organizations. Most recently, he was the CFO of a $150M+ healthcare company, leading its full finance function. He previously served as the Head of Finance and Operations for a venture-backed behavioral health company that grew approximately 8x in three years and was subsequently sold to private equity. Jeremy also has extensive experience with large, complex public companies, including leadership roles at DaVita and Gentiva Health Services and an early career in investment banking.
As a Fractional CFO, Jeremy combines strategic perspective with hands-on execution. He helps leadership teams understand what the numbers are saying, identify the underlying drivers of performance, and build practical financial plans that support growth and profitability.
Jeremy holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of Southern California and a BA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies from Muhlenberg College. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
