Heather Ake is Burkland’s Senior Director of Tax, with more than 25 years of experience spanning both industry and tax consulting. She has deep tax expertise across a full spectrum of services and a track record of building compliance processes and strategies tailored to each client’s unique business model.
Having held senior roles in both public and private organizations, Heather understands the operational realities founders and finance teams face, and translates complex tax law into clear, actionable guidance that directly improves her clients’ financial performance.
Outside of work, Heather serves on the Board of Director Finance Executive Committee for a nonprofit, and is an active volunteer.
