Devin Bissessur is a seasoned finance and operations executive with over a decade of experience spanning startups and billion-dollar global enterprises. He brings deep cross-functional expertise and a strong track record of building scalable, resilient financial infrastructure in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Devin currently serves as Assistant Director of Finance at Burkland, supporting a broad range of companies from startup through growth stage.
He began his career with five years in public accounting at PwC, working with mining and technology companies in the early 2010s and earning his Chartered Accountant designation. In 2016, he moved to Silicon Valley to pursue his passion for technology, gaining experience across M&A, cryptocurrency operations, treasury, business turnarounds, and scaling high-growth organizations. He has since built and led finance functions for PE- and VC-backed fintech companies, including Bridge Ventures and other high-growth startups.
Over the course of his 14-year career, Devin has overseen accounting, FP&A, SEC reporting and policy, treasury operations, and M&A functions. He is a licensed CA/CPA and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Economics from the University of British Columbia.
