The Role

Our team’s Bookkeeper will be responsible for client financial statements, bookkeeping, accounting software management, and journal entries. The role will involve day-to-day tasks related to maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, processing payments, and generating financial reports.

A Day in the Life

  • Performing bookkeeping and general accounting services for clients.
  • Completing and reviewing month-end work (reconciliation of bank accounts, post cash receipts and cash disbursements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, calculating and recording monthly accruals, recording journal entries, preparing financial statements, reviewing G/L detail to be sure sufficient information is provided for preparation of year-end returns).
  • Maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Responding timely and accurately to internal team and client requests.

You’re the perfect fit for us if…

  • You have or are in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or something similar, or 2-3 years of progressive experience.
  • Experience with financial statements, bookkeeping, and accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and Xero.
  • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • You are a communicator at your core. Bonus points if you have customer or client service experience, this is a cornerstone of the role.
  • You are an expert collaborator! You ask for and give feedback regularly.
  • Strong working knowledge of software is key in this role. Daily, you’ll be using the entire G-Suite, Quickbooks Online, Bill.com, + Ramp. You’ll also be using Zoom and other video conferencing tools to facilitate client meetings.

The base pay range target for the role described in this job description is $65,000 – $85,000. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors such as candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data. In addition, full-time regular positions are eligible for 401(k), health benefits, and other benefits; some of these benefits may be available for part-time employees.
