Winey is a Division Lead in Burkland’s Bookkeeping and Accounting Practice and considers herself fortunate to work in a firm that is considerate of both its employees and clients.
Winey started her career as an accounting manager in 2014 at a wire and cable manufacturing company that gave her exposure to manufacturing and cost accounting. Later, she moved into the consultative accounting environment where she found her true calling. With a strong background as a financial analyst, technical controller, and accounting manager, Winey thrives on helping clients and her team members excel at what they do. Her areas of expertise include ERP software, audit support and implementations, and quality assurance.
A lifelong learner, Winey loves sharing knowledge and is a true believer that we should never stop learning. She has a BBA from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and an MBA from UC Riverside. This cross-cultural exposure has helped her become a more understanding and mindful leader.
When not working, Winey loves spending time with her family and friends, and enjoys good music and great food.
