Vino has over ten years of deep accounting experience and currently manages a team of bookkeepers at Burkland. Vino is highly experienced in accounting for startups in the SaaS industry. Many Burkland clients work with Vino prior to their fundraising rounds as he is instrumental in getting their books and records ready for due diligence. Vino started his career in the banking industry working for HSBC banking corporation in the Vehicle Finance division based in the UK. Vino went then went on to work for several publicly traded companies managing their accounting function.
One of Vino’s areas of expertise was helping these companies successfully migrate from their old Microsoft accounting platform to more advanced Microsoft ERP systems. He worked with their software developers to design the workflow and approval processes. Vino also oversaw employee training and acted as a support and fail-safe to double-check data migrated correctly to the new systems. He later accepted a role as Assistant Controller at Snap Advances where they provided funding for over a thousand startups. During Vino’s time with Snap, he helped the controller with yearly audits and preparing the financials for the Board meetings.
