Embracing and conquering challenges through strategic and tactical solutions is Vera’s passion. Her specialty is serving as a strategic, operationally focused business partner and advisor to CEOs and key decision-makers within PE-backed environments.
Vera began her career in certified public accounting field, where she worked in various industries including manufacturing and distribution, real estate and financial services. For the past 20 years, Vera has led Accounting, Finance and Human Resource departments in various organizations. Throughout her career, Vera was an instrumental team member in multiple acquisitions and sales of companies in the healthcare sector, multimillion dollar debt restructuring, building Accounting and HR teams, implementations of EPR and EMR systems, financial and compliance reporting, budgeting and treasury management.
Currently, as the CFO of a dermatology platform, Vera plays a key role in compliance with regulatory requirements and MSO structure of the platform. Vera manages company growth through new construction projects, recruitment of clinical staff and medical equipment acquisitions with a focus on cost optimization and EBITDA improvements.
Vera is based in the NYC area. Outside of work, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes, running and cycling.
