Sunil is an experienced senior finance executive with significant experience advising boards and senior management in challenging environments in global professional services, technology, retail, transportation and manufacturing industries. He is a business leader, innovator and change agent with a consistent record of successful business transformations while building and sustaining excellent relationships with the Board, multiple stakeholders, banking partners and the financial community.
Before joining Burkland, Sunil was CFO at Nexant where he set all the strategic financial planning, reporting, and modeling for the firm, oversaw a significant system conversion enabling accurate and KPI driven financial plans that drove significant improvements in revenue and profitability enabling the ultimate sale of the firm. Prior to joining Nexant, Sunil was CFO at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati where he helped manage and guide strategic financial planning enabling significant growth in revenue, profitability, and the geographic footprint of the firm for 15 years.
Sunil is a CPA and he holds an undergraduate degree in accounting and finance from the prestigious University of Delhi.
