Mike has been a CFO for the last 20 years. He has been the CFO of a number of VC backed early and later stage ventures, 2 Private Equity backed businesses, and several publicly held companies. Prior to becoming a CFO, he held several senior strategic planning and operations finance positions with National Semiconductor, including being the finance leader of its Analog Products Group, Communications Products Group, WW Manufacturing and Process Technology Group, as well as leading its SEC and Internal Reporting – GAAP Technical Team. He was also the VP and WW Controller of Hitachi Data Systems, which was a multi-national JV between Hitachi and EDS focused on computing,
software and services.

He started his career in public accounting and was a Senior Audit Manager in the Silicon Valley Technology Practice of Price Waterhouse, with many VC and publicly held clients. His support to clients included an IPO by a major software company, performing the financial due diligence for several high-profile acquisitions, and assisting in client performance improvement and restructure actions.

  • M&A: 15x Closed Deals (buy/sell) (feasibility, valuation, models, DD, synergies, integration)
  • Manufacturing Operations, Margin and Cost Improvements, Supply Chain and Outsourcing
  • International Operations: Direct Responsibility for Finance in Subsidiaries and JVs in 20 countries
  • Scaling Process Improvements and Controls for Growth – stage appropriate
