Kanchan Pradeep is a seasoned finance professional with over 15 years of global experience, encompassing Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity, and Operational Finance, gained in key financial hubs of New York, Mumbai, Lagos, and the Bay Area. She has a proven track record of partnering with businesses across diverse sectors, geographies, and growth stages, consistently translating intricate financial data into straightforward, actionable models and insights.
Previously, Kanchan led and scaled the FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) practice at FintechForce, a fractional CFO firm, guiding over 40 fintech startups through essential financial processes like budgeting, cash management, Series A/B raises, and cap table planning. As Global Head of Finance and Head of Corporate Strategy at Carbon, a neobank, she managed a 14-member accounting team across four African countries.
Kanchan launched her career as an Investment Banking analyst at J.P. Morgan in New York, later joining J.P. Morgan’s ~$900M Asia Infrastructure Fund in Mumbai, where she contributed to deal teams evaluating investments exceeding $75M each. Her earlier career also includes her tenure at Kaizen Venture Partners, a pan-Africa private equity fund, and serving as COO for a portfolio company turnaround in the quick service restaurant space.
Kanchan holds an MBA in Finance and Operations from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, India, and is based in the San Joaquin Valley, California, where she is deeply involved in local non-profit organizations.
