Dorian Brown has held CFO consulting roles in the entertainment and education fields in small and medium-sized companies, as well as managed strategy, various financial functions, human resources, acquisitions and real estate transactions for large corporations.

Dorian has held CFO roles in the entertainment and education fields in small and medium-sized companies, as well as managed strategy, various financial functions, human resources, acquisitions and real estate transactions for large corporations.

Dorian was the co-founder and partner at FT Partners, a concierge financial service for women going through a divorce who lacked knowledge of financial matters. Prior to this, Dorian was the executive vice president and CFO of Star Theatres, where she directed all financial functions and business affairs of four operating companies, and negotiated and managed an $80 million bank credit facility as well as M&A. Before Star, Dorian was a senior vice president at Loews Theatres, where she developed the strategic plan and mission, negotiated union contracts, negotiated the joint venture to form Magic Johnson Theatres, and developed their 10-year business plan. Dorian was also a vice president of programming and business operations at Showtime Satellite Networks and a vice president of strategic planning at Columbia Pictures Entertainment.

Dorian has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from George Washington University. She is a CPA (inactive). Dorian was the CFO and a board member at the Storefront Academy in Harlem (a private, tuition-free school) for ten years, where she chaired the finance and audit committees.
