Mitch Alcon is a seasoned CFO/COO helping companies profitably scale their financial and operational infrastructure to drive growth, deliver on strategic initiatives, enter new markets, and execute successful transactions.

Mitch has proven experience scaling SMB SaaS, Services, and e-Commerce companies by developing the business modeling, analytics, reporting, data, and systems to drive growth. Mitch’s senior financial and operational roles provide him with unique insights on the data and analytics needed to address critical financial and operational success factors to avoid costly pitfalls. Mitch views being a sounding board and partner to the management team as a critical role.

Before Burkland, Mitch was the CFO for 1618 Holding, a SaaS/Fin-tech education company, established accrual reporting, developed reliable budgets, forecasts and models, launched a new go-to-market strategy, established a new corporate structure, and improved overall profitability. Previously, as an interim CFO, he helped 12 small to mid-sized organizations (8 SaaS, 2 e-Commerce, and 2 Services) scale their organizations, launch new go-to-market strategies, provide enhanced reporting, dashboards and KPI’s, provide modeling, budgets and forecasts, and successfully close 5 transactions at high valuations.

As a private company CFO, Mitch was CFO for Framework, Wrenchead, Exact, which all achieved significant growth positioning for successful exits. In addition, Mitch held senior finance roles with large SaaS enterprise companies PeopleSoft and WebCT. These companies provide Mitch with a global perspective, delivering processes and systems to support growth, executing mergers and acquisitions (due diligence and integration), fundraising, go-to-market strategy, and business modeling. Furthermore, Mitch held senior operation roles with Exact, Ipswitch, and SAI Global focused on sales and marketing operations and driving revenue growth.

Mitch earned a Bachelor of Science and Commerce from Santa Clara University and received his CPA (now inactive) while at Ernst & Whinney. On his off-hours, Mitch enjoys hiking, traveling, spending time with his family, and playing with his dog.
