Jayant Ishwar is a proven financial executive with extensive start-up experience. He brings more than 20 years of financial and corporate experience in both startup and established companies. Jayant has raised venture financing for private companies and arranged venture debt and equipment leases. He led a company through an initial public offering listing on Nasdaq. He has negotiated and executed company exits. He assisted in raising over $500 million in equity and convertible debt for a large public company. He possesses strong planning, operating, and M&A experience. He is experienced in dealing with law firms, in matters of corporate law, patent filings, and patent litigation.
Jayant has worked as a fractional CFO since 2008 at a number of early-stage companies in Ad Tech, Digital Imaging, SAAS, Biotech, Digital Health, Clean Energy, Semiconductors, Real estate rehabbing, and Consumer products: raised capital, managed finance, and planning, accounting and administration, and provided support for the acquisition of two client companies by assisting in the due diligence process.
Previously, as CFO at Nanoconduction Inc., Jayant assisted in raising multiple rounds of investments, and set up and managed all finance and administrative activities. Earlier, he was CFO at Herodion Corp., a semiconductor IP company that was bought by the leading competitor in the industry. Prior to joining Herodion, he was VP, Finance at O2Micro, where he led the company through a successful IPO. Previously, he held executive and senior management positions at Silicon Graphics and Mitchell Madison Group.
Jayant has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
