Brody Ehrlich is a Fractional CFO at Burkland, with a background in both B2C and B2B SaaS business models related to cybersecurity, social media, ecommerce, and fintech. He is also a non-practicing lawyer, having passed the bar in New York and New Jersey, with years of experience managing legal questions unique to technology startups.

Prior to joining Burkland, Brody was a career entrepreneur who brought multiple technology companies from seed stage to exit sale and Series B as the senior leader in both finance and operations. In a finance capacity, his experience gave him a deep understanding of the nuances in finding operational efficiencies in an underfunded environment, and he has led from scratch the creation of financial practices, including budgeting, accounting, financial modeling, and investor relations and capital acquisition. Unique to some CFOs, he also has an extensive background in business operations, having led sales operations, human resources, legal teams, and business strategy.

Brody holds a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management with a focus on Finance from Cornell University, and a J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with a focus on intellectual property. Some examples of companies he has worked on include B2C video sharing social networks, ecommerce shopping cart integrations, cybersecurity software distribution, and technical professional services organizations. He has a strong personal interest in blockchain and cryptocurrency related businesses and is an avid investor.
