Steven has more than 25-years of broad financial, operational and capital markets experience as an entrepreneur, C-suite executive, investor, and advisor.
As an entrepreneur and operating executive, Steve has helped build, grow, and profitably exit several firms, and led the turnaround of a multi-billion-dollar division of a global bank. As an investor, he has sourced, analyzed, structured, and exited, or placed, more than $10 billion in transactions, across many different industries, asset classes, and geographies. As an advisor, Steve has helped dozens of startups and early-stage companies accelerate their dreams. An emerging market veteran, Steve has lived, worked in and/or completed transactions in more than 50 countries.
Steve has held senior leadership positions at Banco Santander, RoseTech Ventures, Goldman Sachs’ Commodities Corporation, and Vicis Capital, a $6 billion investment fund, where he was Head of the London Office. He is also an Adjunct Professor in graduate-level finance and investments at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, and mentors start-ups through the CleanTech Open, Columbia University and several I-Corp technology transfer programs, incubators, and accelerators.
