Dan is a seasoned, strategic finance and operations leader for venture-backed SaaS and D2C tech and tech-enabled companies with a passion for driving business growth by mixing operating best practices with a highly data-driven approach.  Dan focuses on building strategic frameworks, business models, core business process infrastructure, metrics & KPIs dashboards, financial reporting and forecasting for growth companies. Dan has over 20 years of leadership experience crossing finance, business development, product, legal and people management and has led companies through 7 financings, including 2 IPOs, and 6 acquisitions (buy- and sell-side).

Dan was most recently Co-Founder, COO & CFO of StreamMetrics, a data analytics provider for esports and live video streaming, landing the company its first 5 customers.  Previously, Dan was COO & CFO at Bandsintown, a music media company, where he grew revenue from 0 to over $20m in revenue during his tenure.  Previously, Dan was COO/CFO of MobileGuard, a startup focused on the monitoring, capture and archive of communications from mobile devices which was ultimately sold to Smarsh.  Before that, Dan served as Global SVP, IPO Finance team lead and General Counsel at the Korean-based company, WiderThan, co-managing their US IPO (NASDAQ: WTHN) and subsequent acquisition by RealNetworks for $350m.  Dan started his career in law, managing mergers & acquisitions and financings for US and international telecommunications companies such as AT&T/SBC Communications, Vodafone (UK) and Tricom (Dominican Republic).
